Day 4
Bright tidings, my murkiest mire! ^^
I intended to post yesterday, with the occasioning of National Hug Your Cat Day—but my initial draft quickly evolved into a Boggified MushyGushy, languishing palaver. It's tremendously difficult for me to prepare a memorandum on kitties that is both concise and cohesive without revealing excessively intimate personal details. So, considering today is National Start Over Day, I think it's fair that I prolong kitty hugging day and dedicate this tangent to my soulkitties. Having resided remotely throughout my formative years, I've tended to (and owned) a veritable menagerie's worth of beasts. Despite having been amply exposed to a plethora of creatures during my adolescence, in hindsight, none of my critter encounters have influenced me quite like the kitties I've met. Each feline is different, uniquely endowed with a quidditative sentience of inter–dimensional proportions. Typically, one doesn't simply acquire a feline's friendship; they have to steadily work towards earning it. Bonding with a kitty requires patience and delicate precision—I guess that's their allure to me...their consolingly complex cattitudes... On account of this specificity, they're very similar to us. Beings that embody the same fundamental, primitive elements and depth of selfhood, but omit the unsavory properties I associate with the human species. The first cat recruited into our clowder was a stocky, male tuxedo cat named Buzzkill—honorifically "Buzzy." My parents nobly sprung him from the wilderness, while I—myself—was still confined within the womb. Well—more accurately—he foist himself upon them, ineluctably. Which is how the nomenclature "Buzzy" came to be established—because, as he insisted on trailing the two, my mom would admonish him with a sibilant: "Bzzbzzzbzzzt, get out of here, Buzzkill!!!" But I've barely even begun to expound the persistence of this entity's lunacy, as his behavior has been relayed to me.
I think I'll wrap this one up here!! I'm trying to curtail my prolixity post by post until I've shared enough to pad out my blog a smidge. This is a rich area for future entries~
